- 1 premade 9-inch deep dish pie crust
- 1 jar (12 oz) of hot fudge sauce
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 cups chopped pecans
- 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with foil, placing the pie shell on top.
- Remove the lid and film from the hot fudge sauce jar and microwave for 40 seconds.
- Pour the melted fudge into a large mixing bowl, then add eggs, brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and one-third of the pecans.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and top with remaining pecans.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely before serving.
