  • 1 premade 9-inch deep dish pie crust
  • 1 jar (12 oz) of hot fudge sauce
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 cups chopped pecans
  • 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with foil, placing the pie shell on top.
  2. Remove the lid and film from the hot fudge sauce jar and microwave for 40 seconds.
  3. Pour the melted fudge into a large mixing bowl, then add eggs, brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips and one-third of the pecans.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and top with remaining pecans.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely before serving.
