Ingredients
1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Add the remaining butter and lemon juice, tossing to coat the shrimp.
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful garlic butter sauce.
Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
