- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish or bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, milk, and oil.
- Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and well combined.
- Fold in toasted pecans and butterscotch chips if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before slicing or frosting as desired.
