Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish or bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, milk, and oil.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and well combined.
  4. Fold in toasted pecans and butterscotch chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing or frosting as desired.
